Andrew said if your normal map had 4 ritual poles, the mirage version will be one pole with the combined output of 4. This is insane.
I can not wait for Friday.
Scion is likely gonna be a second character for me, especially once people start cooking with builds and I can see if anything in particular interest me.
But damnit...I'm gonna have to make sure whatever I end up playing has strong clear. This really feels like a clear league, that's bonkers.
The more I've been tinkering the more I'm moving away from Holy Sweep for my Guardian idea. The lack of strike/slam tags on it really gimps a lot of interactions and with the slow attack speed I feel like it'll struggle to maintain high stacks of phys as extra lightning from the new node.
Now very much looking at a self-damage Holy Strike. Decent scaling with minion attack speed/damage on top of lots of crit, can run rallying/ancestral/infernal cry on autoexert (need belt craft so leap slam won't exert, but a worthwhile tradeoff) for a nice damage buff (minimum 20% more attack damage from rallying cry), +2 strikes from ancestral, and explodes from infernal since I assume clear will need quite a bit of help. Still staff-based so block cap (attack and spell) while being able to reasonably approach crit cap with around 500% multi.
Still very much debating on whether I stick with SSF (773 chat is fun) or if I just cave and go back to trade now that async trade exists. There is absolutely a sense of accomplishment doing it all by yourself and all but...damn man, I tend to play less meta builds and easy access to tons of cheap-ish gear sounds great. Too bad I don't know how to sell shit anymore and am generally too lazy to price.
Now to wait for Wednesday (prob) for gem data to finish this terrible cooking. Might take a half day on Friday, we'll see.
I’m likely going to play divine blast but I honestly have no idea how you would build it. My first thought was to use it as cluster bombs with Projectile mark but it doesn’t actually have the projectile tag so that’s off the table.
Mabye it would work well with ignite?

It both delights and disgusts me that last league I was saying, "Kinetic Fusilade is one of the best skills in the game" and for the entire league. Then, a few people do some Youtubers on the KF. Mirage notes drop, Andrew says on the podcast KF is one of the strongest skills in the game and now everyone is POBing KF Totems.
I've been riding KF since day 1. Check the records, bandwagoners.
Now I got pay extra for my stuff because someone on Reddit is posting Necro KF builds.

The skill is weird, like Sweep, in that it lacks tags that make it scale easily.
Ignite is about the only thing I've been able to think of with the 100% more ailment from the explosion, but not sure if it'll be worth it even with a modo-armor shield for big flat. Especially since you'll also need to bake in a fair bit of less duration so the skill doesn't feel like hot ass to play. Also ignite for proliferation because otherwise the clear on it looks like piss.
I'm more interested in the other retaliation shield skill atm, very curious what those numbers will be. Being able to shotgun from minions potentially opens some silly shenanigans if there's no cap, including things like "hello vaal skeleton army for 36 instances of the retaliation skill hitting a boss at once, repeatedly if you're Glad and get a bit lucky".
Edit: Oh shit - seems that going into a mirage is a child instance, i.e. loading screen. Means you lose tons of things in the process (non-permanent minions, buffs etc.) Might be annoying for some builds and brutal for others.

My thoughts as well, I’ll have to do alot of looking into how ignite is built now a days as I haven’t touched it in for ever.
But I’ll likely start it with Guaridan and mix in some minions I try and use the new added fire supper that you can’t proc your self a see hat I can pull off with it so I can swap into other holy skills if it doesn’t work.

I'm not sold on Hallow Flame or whatever as a minion scaling vector, really. It's basically a level 1 Added Fire Dmg support and you need to have high attack speed to maintain it for more than 1-2 minions. I thought about something like SRS of Enormity with them for a hot second but not sure that's gonna play well/justify the debuff.
Feel like gem data on Wednesday (supposedly?) gonna be the determining factor for a lot of these decisions.
I was thinking of building it with heralds of purity being the minions in question as I’ve always wanted to build around them with the various rings and cluster jewel stuff but have just never got around to it.
Wouldn’t have to worry about summoning them and only 4 means less attack speed is needed compared to other options like say denominating blow having a ton of dudes.

Still need to activate them, which means either doing enough damage to kill something by yourself or having high enough attack speed to maintain them on bosses (they will die without some survivability built in). I played a pure phys/impale HoP build long ago and remember it generally being pretty good but that was like uh...5-6 years at this point? They can be strong but eat up all your mana if you 6L. I dunno, full ele convert on them with something like a very fast attacking Smite which lets you attack at range and gives them a bit more lightning damage? With enough attack speed you can maybe keep up the buff pretty consistently for some extra damage at the cost of self damage on your attack.

HOLY SHIT GEM DATA AAAAAAAAAAAAA

Freeform thoughts -
Holy Hammers still looks very strong for a slam.
HOLY HOLY STRIKE WHAT THE FUCK - no speed penalty, almost 400% scaling, 170% more minion damage, and it's half phys to lightning. Yeah...this might actually be my starter for sure.
Shield of Light almost looks amazing until you get to the cap of 4 waves. F in chat : (
Shockwave Totem of Authority is just now Better Shockwave Totem with novas targeting enemies (easy access via mastery rune). Higher base damage and higher scaling, lol.
Static Strike of Gathering Lightning looks kinda amazing? Less AoE but more dmg than the OG?
Examplar opening up interesting crit scaling with minions >.>
GMP/LMP gone? Just see Multiple Projectiles support now.

ya this just completely upended my plans, the 170 alone is enough to put the other options in the ground.
it annoys me that it and divine blast are two different elements as well as I’d tottaly build both at the same time if I could go full on into one.Shield of Light almost looks amazing until you get to the cap of 4 waves. F in chat : (

I'm now also mightily looking at Static Strike of Gathering Lightning. Seems to be an active vs. passive version of the skill, with clear build in (once you get some stacks), and while it's got slightly lower damage effectiveness the 96% more at full stacks and getting some solid attack speed should see it outperform the baseline version, and with a 4s buff duration (assuming refreshes full stacks and not individual) it should be easy to maintain 12 stacks through maps and most boss fights. Maybe slayer or something?
Static Strike and Holy Strike. Mama Mia.
I am so amped up with excitement.
Static Strike Trauma Jugg?
https://pobb.in/EmM3o96DXtnt
Very rough tree idea for it. Might need to still take Tribal Fury for some initial splash damage, but this feels very achievable/reasonable (weapon is not intended to be reasonable).
High attack speed to maintain both stacks of Gathering Storm (96% More is big, yo) and Trauma. Go Precise Tech for access to hopefully cheaper weapons since you don't care about crit at all and just want attack speed/accuracy suffixes. Skill should do solid single target when ramped and have decent enough clear from the beam even without more AoE support (12 chains without any damage loss at 100% of hit damage is juicy) - bossing should be comfy since you can just plant and swing fast for a bit to get to high stacks.
Defenses should be fine. 5 endurance charges, Fortify, mondo-armour with Brass Dome to be able to facetank phys hits, plenty of regen via phys mitigation from the ascendency, boosted leech, part of armor mitigating chaos damage to be able to potentially go below 75% comfortably (can take the pantheon node for more chaos dot res), around 85% ele resistances.
Plenty of empty gem slots for whatever nonsense I'm not thinking of now (including a separate 6L).

At this point I'm planning on checking out both, starting with Holy Strike, unless Static Strike is a total bust.
Mmmm, filled out the empty boots on my Static Strike idea - arcanist brand with hydrosphere/conductivity. the additional duration from tree will help and can either use faster casting or more duration for the fourth socket. and while i don't think it'll work this way...in theory the static strike beam should proc an attack hit on the sphere (since they count as a melee attack per the stream, can proc fortify etc.) so you can potentially get a double hit if you take tribal fury for splash damage? and if the skill itself is capable of double striking that's potentially a triple strike? mama mia, that's a spicy-a-meata-bolla (i'm italian i can do the fake accent)
Ok the more I'm thinking about this idea the more I'm liking it. Still have 6 sockets to play with in the concept and nothing for it since guard skill, aura, and debuffs are all accounted for.
Edit: Womp womp, can only hit hydrosphere once per second. Still useful, but not the "double beam damage" i thought.

Exceptional gem teaser.
Vaal Sacrifice probably gonna get cooked into some bonkers shit.
Congregation seems like it could enable many shenanigans...a great many.
Void Shockwave is...I'm not sure. Shockwave with more clear? Unclear what the goal of this gem is since shockwave already comes with pretty decent AoE and most of the skills using it (cyclone, primarily) have decent AoE/clear as well. Derp - way more damager and works with axes. Looks juicy, actually.

most updated notes, I assume? should say so, anyways -
Otherwise - updated my Holy Sweep idea to swap to Inquisitor for now. Lose some defenses and the bonus auras BUT between the additional damage from easy crit scaling/ignoring resistances and slotting in Hydrosphere for double hammer bonks more reliably (1s cooldown on that actually works reasonably well with sweep being so slow) for single target. Still probably dogshit, but we'll see.The Bestiary crafting recipe for Corrupting a Map to have 30% Quality instead now Corrupts the Map to have an Implicit Modifier.
Replenishing Shrine Buff now grants 200% increased Mana Regeneration Rate (instead of Regenerate 10% of Mana per second).
Lesser Replenishing Shrine Buff now grants 100% increased Mana Regeneration Rate (instead of Regenerate 3.33% of Mana per second).
Removed sources of Fossils from places other than Delve throughout the game.
Greatly increased the frequency at which you find Fossils behind fractured walls and off the main paths in Delve.
Fossilised Delirium Orbs and Fossilised Incubators can no longer be obtained. Pre-existing ones in standard will still function.
Brute Force Contracts in Heist can now grant Fragment Rewards.
Trinkets that had a chance to receive additional Fossils when opening a Reward Chest no longer appear.
Fixed a client crash that could occur when dying while under the effect of Commandment of Ire.
Atlas Respecialisation Points and Character Respecialisation Points are now capped at 65535 (thank you to the Exile who discovered this was necessary for your contribution to science).
Fixed Riker's Ancient Orb bench and Leo's special Vaal Orb bench in Betrayal in Phrecia Leagues being able to give Unique Idols, which were unmodifiable by Currency.
Fixed a bug in Phrecia leagues where Orialchum Ore would not grant buffs to the player upon completion of the encounter.
The Maven can no longer clone the Incarnation of Dread in Phrecia Leagues, as it caused issues with completing the fight.
The Maven can no longer clone the Elder during the Uber Elder fight in Phrecia Leagues. This fixes a bug where the Uber Elder could sometimes not be Witnessed by the Maven, if the Maven used their clone ability on the Elder.
Fixed a bug where the "Give Points To Guild" button was non-functional on consoles.
Fixed an issue where your current checkpoint wouldn't update correctly when interacting with a Waypoint or leaving the area.
Enabled The Red Queen's Portal microtransaction for use in Path of Exile.

Updated tree is live online at least.
New accuracy wheel right next to Templar start is great, and the second one right next to divine shield is surprisingly dope. With that plus the life/consecrated ground wheel above it you can get to 75% increased effectiveness, which seems like a very solid defensive/sustain layer for inquisitor taking sanctuary/pious path.

The most hateful thing that GGG has ever done is forcing you to go through the Remove Only stash tabs in the slowest way possible.
On the one hand, standard.
However, I do like ot demo and test things on Standard during downtime or if the build item might need something specific. There is a value and utility to Standard. Why make it so fucking painful though?
I would pay $100 for a "Move this tab's content to this other tab and leave me alone" button.
