Officially joining the Holy Strike Haters Club. Infernal Cry was not enough to make up for clear and the skill mechanically feels weird and suffers from many of the usual "not heavily invested in strikes/QoL so it's kinda ass" - lots of weird minion desync on attack animations without even bonkers attack speed.

Anyways, swapped to Static Strike/Shockwave Inquisitor and basically came in just shy of crit cap, lel. Still need to solve a bit of block but so far it's going much smoother/faster and I have lots of room to play. Just gotta convert the rest of that Shockwave damage somehow.

Started with holy strike and liked it a fair amount, then Divine blast dropped as soon as I got to sarn, so I of course I had to drop every thing to try it.

Really not sure how your suppose to build it as mentioned pre league start given how little tags it has, But I noticed that it has a mini seething fury effect on it innately which should in theory stack with the gem, so I'm thinking get the easy crit and go perfect agony and stack crit multi ignite. No idea if it's gonna work but I don't really see any other option.

With how high the base crit is I realize that I didn’t think this through and defaulted to elementalist for the always ignite when I might be better off as a trickster or something else.

I do not understand how people who take 20 hours in campaign, run white maps, spec into strongboxes and rogue exiles, follow someone else's build, and buy their gear have opinions on "ground loot" or "lack of rewards". Am I to take these people seriously?

Keeping my Shockwave Static Strike Inq going - got Void Shockwave which was a nice damage increase at the cost of some AoE. Got super lucky with an Acceleration/Regeneration shrine belt drop that I sold for 400 div...never been this rich. Character remains surprisingly fucking strong, too. Very unanticipated and a pleasant surprise.

Already made some bigger purchases on my dude and gonna see how they work out, don't think I have too far I can reasonably take this character without dipping into more advanced shit I don't know about.

But hey, now I can fund whatever the fuck I want for a second character so I guess I should look around for some cool builds.

Also, didn't realize they moved the Mercenary league affixes to Rogue Exiles. Nat-dropped a solid crit-slam hat and wondering if I should figure out something to do with it. Shit giving 2% flat crit per warcry exerting attacks made crit capping so freaking easy.

Trade feels like playing the game with hax/easymode (even before the big drop)

For anyone interested, haven't spent a ton of time trying to optimize everything since I'm just having run running through and smashing everything. I've never really bothered juicing too much since it always felt tedious even when I had stronger characters but like...man this league has the juice. Juicy.

The Astrolobes are absolutely dope as fuck - I'm running 4-5 hand Breach maps with guaranteed unique bosses in all + some generic extra juice + Breach Astrolobe juice. Even my computer is starting to get angry at me with so much shit happening, and the game/server frequently takes a shit for a hot second after a Crushing Fist slam as it wipes the screen, lel.

Static Strike outdid all the holy skills. Once I got SS, I never went back. Holy Sweep was junk, Holy Strike was the worst melee skill I played since OG Glacial Strike. Holy Hammers is a POE2 skill.

I plan on doing a proper SS build at some point. But I am LOVING my Vall Absolution Long Neck.

T16/Nightmares are a much better scheme than t17s (just garbage rewards for the effort). I think I prefer the old Atlas Maps, but that could just be habit and the fact they made the UI so tiny I can not read what I am clicking.

Also, I am half blind. So these could be me problems. I need that text BIG.

Think I agree here. If not THE best POE1 league, certainly one of the 3 best with Settlers, Affliction, and Legion.

lmao dropped a chaos res light of meaning, this is a very good/lucky league so far

i keep wanting to spend my divines on a mageblood since this is the first time i'll be able to buy one but i'm not sure what i want to build. something screen cleary and fun but so far the few things i've looked into seem like they'll take way too much effort/investment for me to be fun.

but i guess my dude kinda does that? i just have to swing every few seconds and the clear is more localized, but it's basically walking around with 5M+ dps at this point which is just kinda silly. static shock / shockwave (well void shockwave) is turning out to be excellent, and I still haven't finished leveling the void shockwave yet (almost to cap). remembering now to do things like level determination on weapon swap since corrupting them to 21 is easy chaos.

also - this league feels like it mega-buffed gold drops. i guess watchstones do a lot, but the additional gold from some of the wishes is great. because holy fuck i've never really engaged with mappers before but i've got enough to hire some now and i'm addicted. found so many divines and so much shit from mechanics i've blocked just dumping random alch and go t16's in there. pricy as fuck to run 3 + farms + reduced staff mine + smelter, but damn man, shit pays cash money.

I did a t16 with 2 breaches, deli, expo, and a mirage on top of the deli mirror, 1 breach and a strongbox all clumped together near the start. This is amazing.

How do you find Aul on trade league? Just use trade chat or something?

Made an Exsanguinate Miner like all the cool kids (wanted to have good clear) and need that damned ascendency. Quite fun, makes me miss the old poison trapper with Exsanguinate/Seismic Trap and feels weird playing the skill as direct damage.

I still really like slamming lvl 1 supports onto gems. It's "small", but really does feel like it makes a lot of builds/skills more flexible by saving gem slots or giving a skill some QoL it may not otherwise really have.

I usually get him around 300+ depth. Look for those blue refrigerator looking chests and go around in a circle until I see the chamber.

in other news -

creator of TFT (trading discord/community for super high-end stuff, lots on standard, generally disliked and thankfully largely unnecessary to engage with due to many league changes and async trade/currency exchange) apparently got permabanned and is crashing out hard. he is not well liked personally and there are many stories of him trying to bully people into selling him items etc.

this truly may actually be the best league.

I really never use the trade chat for anything except minions. When they added the trade for perfect corpses, I barely used the minion chat. The auras from the ritual corpses were too good.

I think I last used the chat for delve back in... necro? That league was ass, and I just went to rhe tunnels to avoid rhe graveyard shuffle.

But I never got a party for Aul or the Crystal Kingdom biome. When I delve, I usually get 350-400 Depth and then horizontal. Occasionally, I go 500-600 in really tanky builds, but I haven't needed that in a while.

Until this league, Delve was falling off as Heist and Breach got more cracked.

I think it's/chat 820 or 840.

They will never get those items or Mirrors back now. That's a major deletion in the econ.

The TFT owner's @ everyone like 5 times was pretty embarrassing. I don't know much of the history but it was a yikes. I hope he doesn't nuke the discord though, I use it for poe2 trials carries.
