Well that honestly sucks.
I can't be much help with this fanfic thing. It's rare that I'll sit down to read one and even then I like my fanfics being horribly gory.
From what I know those aren't the kind of fanfics you write.

Competition is a horrible thing and there's not much I can suggest that can make you feel better. However I would never throw talents away, they're too rare to let go of.

In the past my fic's have been short and driven by emotions. I was trying something different this time. I hope you'll give it a shot some time though. It's pretty short (<10k words) and not a very hard read at all.

I'm aware of your annoyance over the FO:E fandom, since I remember you talking about this earlier, and I'm also aware of you writing Black and White. (Yes, I can read the "Author" part. :> )
I should probably get around to reading it, I quite enjoyed some of the fics on your list but I'm still in the middle of the reading process since it is after all quite a list.
But I'd imagine there's also the factor that Fallout itself has quite a large fanbase, which naturally directly has an effect on FO:E's fanbase.

Not sure if my words help at all or anything since I'm really a crappy talker. (heck, I'm a crappy everything. )
Buut I hope (as usual, me and my damn optimism) that things'll turn out the best for you and you'll find new inspiration to draw and write, get better in both and manage to create more great stories.

Usually make donuts out of saucers of dough. You punch out the middle. That removed dough is called the donut hole for some damn reason.
