Well the way I see it the brony community is just as cancerous as before. Its why I avoid it for the majority.

yeah i was trying to avoid mentioning it but basically yes, the other side seems to be getting more momentum =/, or maybe i have just come to finally notice its there... i pretty much ignored it to my best abilities until i saw that link that was posted last night in the stream

tl;dr version of my view on bronies before I go to sleep.

For me MLP is a fad which has long since become very boring. I couldn't get through the second season. It wasn't too bad as a fad. The show just isn't good enough to warrant the long-term attention it's getting, and the fandom is almost entirely terrible now. I don't mean the "pony porn" people, the people who made/make the pony porn are just the same people who make porn in every other fandom.

The tiny number of creative and intelligent individuals which once seemed to be the core of the fandom are now overwhelmed by huge numbers of idiots jumping on the bandwagon, a good number of them being young, whiny and completely internet-retarded (9gag material). Bronies have become "cool", and it's "cool" to FORCE the worship of a kid's TV programme on everyone.

The show is alright, not worthy of hate. The fandom is entirely worthy of hate.

i agree and yet i disagree, i dont think the whole fandom is worthy of hate, and i dont really have much more to say on it without causing an argument

Edit, shit I should clarify. The aneurism occurs mostly post episodes. Like the over analyzing and taking "MLP lore" too far. I can't really say MLP lore with a straight face.
