I played panth/darius top sometimes with a friend. that was a lot of fun. critplank and MF bot, too.
I always try not to rage when I play LoL, but I get easily frustrated when I lose my lane. It's always a 50/50 of counter and me being bad.
My friends rage a lot... and I hate it. It sucks to have someone constantly yelling around dumb shit just because he can't focus... another friend of mine always whines around because he doesn't get any kills, only assists... yeah because LoL is all about the statistic...
I'd rather win with a decent 4/2/20 than lose with a 30/0/x or w/e

Yeah I agree. My friend plays SONA (poorly mind you, but that's besides the point) and then bitches when he doesn't get kills. . . . like seriously? Or when ever i play with him, if he dies like 2 times he gets PISSED. it's annoying.

What I actually meant was to kill someone AND survive. When i was playing him he just seemed to take waaay too much damage compared to the amount of damage he was doing.

Whenever I would play LoL with Ziru and that one guy I can't remember the name of we just laughed at each other and called each other names when we made dumb mistakes. But it's not like I played ranked matches or anything. I was just filthy casual.

Oh man those are words to live by. I feel the same, I would rather play a game that would get an extreme emotional reaction out of me than play a game where i'm just sitting there with a straight face on the entire time.

I like the connection you feel with a game in that strange way. For an example, if I am kited to death by a Mundo without even touching him, I get super mad at myself because I should know better. I have a drive saying "I am better than this, fucking let me show it!".

But there's also games like Deus Ex: Human Revolution where I had a legitimate rage. When the chick that flies your chopper-thingy crashes and dies I went total batshit. I went so ragemode that I Re-loaded the save and killed everything in the area pure Spartan way, which made it clear to me that she was save-able.

And if you don't save her, you later on find her on an operating table all bloodied and carved up by some gang stealing her implants. Likewise, if you do save her, she isn't there. Just a bloody table with no body.

I should also add there are 2 different endings for her. One if you leave immediately and kill almost nothing, and one if you stick around, but still don't kill everything in time.

Heavily disagree with both of you, but I'll leave it at that.

I generally won't keep playing a game if it doesn't hold my interest, so I don't have to worry about the "playing game with perma-emotionally dead face on". I'm just, by nature, not fond of conflicts, which rage more often than not leads to. I'll do my best to defuse it where I can, but I usually won't even try in LoL. Too much rage for me to put forth that much effort, that often.

Yeah, sounds like every time I somehow end up playing with Cranica. The guy rages at everything that doesn't go exactly the way he thinks it should.

and yes Soilwork is a great band they changed a lot since their first album, just like In Flames.
