I think it's stupid to talk about love as gender-focused. The way I see it, there's two big numbers in the equation: Love and Sexual Activity (Or mind and body).

Whereas I can love anyone who loves me, no matter the gender, my sexual drive is towards females only. Things such as traps, futa etc. can't do it for me, because my body is telling me "No, only females allowed". But my mind is free, my mind is not bound to instinct and desire. I can chose to love whomever I please, and they can chose to love me. I see no difference in loving a guy as to loving a girl; Emotions has no gender.
