Also, wow. The AI Supras and Eclipses are monstrously fast. With my Civic, all I can do is block them on the straights. Chad and his Celica seemed strong too.

U2 was ok. The open world was really cool.

yeah and the narrow schortcuts with bunch of trash in them in nfsu1 was what made me love that game

this is also one of the reasons I liked nfsu1 a bit more. I dunno, the world seemed a bit more mysterious that way.
