Okay, this might be me being a bit... Retarded... But does MMO-C really not have a Search Users option?

I haven't seen one, so every time I need to shoot a pm at one I am not already friends with, I have to search my friends friendlists, and their friends friendlists until I eventually find the person I am looking for.

However, now that I need to shoot a pm at Valcron, he is harder to find than a sharp stone in your shoe.

Am I really being blind?

1. Hit MMO-C's "Search" button while the entry field is empty.
2. Enter username into the User Name field and hit Search.
3. Find a thread result with only one page (or failing that, as few pages as possible).
4. Ctrl+F the thread for the user.
5. ???
6. Profit!

Here's Valcron.

If you open the PM box and start typing their name there is a dropdown with the users.

Or that. Either way, you should be able to just type "Valcron" into the recipients box and it'll send off fine as long as you spell it properly. It'll tell you if it can't find that user.

You're not blind. The best thing you can do is go to advanced search, and just search the forums for one of their posts. As far as I know, direct user search is reserved for mods.

I know it's not inherently mean, I just have a hard time telling people flat-out that "Hey, I think your idea needs some work" without being worried I'll offend them.

My bar's probably set somewhere around "When you're so nice that it starts to mar and distort what you're actually trying to say." Another reason I respect Sofii--he doesn't mince words or try to be nice just to be nice. He says what he wants to say and doesn't let that be distorted by efforts to be nice.

There's only one thing that frightens me more than the things that I can force myself to do for someone else's sake...and that's the things that I can do when that same person is upset. I absolutely hate seeing people suffer. Even those that I hate.

I dunno, in my case it's absolutely random. The only time when I know that I won't hold back is when I'm upset beyond belief. I can give you an example if you want, but only in private.
