Looks like the only "rule" you broke is making him tan but I think since you actually drew a little hair (so he doesn't look bald, not that horses have tan skin but I'm guessing that's why tan is usually weird looking) it's really not that bad. I don't really like the look of any male ponies but that's nothing against your dude that's just me being picky :P

I sort of have an OC, but I don't think anyone knows what it looks like.
Partially because I don't feel like drawing/requesting it, partially because I don't know what the mane/tail look like.

Getting a good mane/tail design is tricky. I daresay Zeph's is too over-the-top, but...yeah. Not easy to come up with a good looking and appropriate mane/tail. And thanks, I appreciate it.

The two OCs of mine I mentioned that weren't my ponysona are starring in a fic' I'm working on, so pardon the 'stupid story'. Backstory is kind of necessary for those two.

Only issue I have is the lime-green eyes. They don't really seem to fit with the rest of him. At a glance, I'd probably go with a darker, foresty-green or another color entirely, but I can't say for sure until I've messed around with their color extensively.

O ya, I didn't really think about that but you're right, more colorful stuff would definitely make it tacky

funny thing is that is basically me as a pony i have messy brown hair and my skin is close to that color since im a white white i mean white person plus i repeat myself in saying i fucked up with the eyes and honestly dont know how i let it slip by
