Alright, very much a work in progress, but I don't post here enough, so I figure why not.
I'm designing the website for my comic/blog, and thought I might as well get some thoughts on it.
^ Here is the index page.
Shows the current comic page, and the home bar to the left, which will eventually holster the gallery/portfolio buttons, and maybe even a pony related button (though I'd have no clue what it'd do at this point).
Currently where twilight is is the archive button. I'm still debating whether or not to keep it there. It fits well with the other page buttons, not to mention I'm planning on having the buttons highlight with Twilight's magic when you hover over them, but it also means you can't access the archive from the home bar, which kind of sucks. I guess I could also stick it on the home bar as well, but that feels odd, will see.
The other issue is that because the home bar is to the left, whenever you open a page, that bar will always be there taking up space, meaning the comic will have to be tiny to compensate for 800x600 screens. Not sure how to fix this without messing with the whole design, which I'd rather not do.
Otherwise I generally like how it looks and functions. It facilitates the comics need by being simple as to not distract from the comic, while still maintaining a matching theme with the comic. Also displays some nice information that I wish other comics would do; the chapter and page numbers.
^ Here's just a quick scribble of what I'm hoping for the archive page.
Sadly has a lot of pros and cons as well.
On one side, it displays chapters and pages well through an aesthetically pleasing design (that again, fits), while also granting a nice little button to open all the pages in the chapter at once (will have to look into this depending on how resource heavy the index page is though). I'm honestly surprised no one has used Twilight as the archivist in this way. Fits too well.
On the other side, I really don't want to drawing highlights for every book, not to mention the design isn't as intuitive as the index page is where the buttons and title stands out, which makes things a little obnoxious for newcomers trying to figure it out.
This one was just a starter sketch to get the design for the archives down, so it's bound to change a lot before anything goes down.

A bunch of WIP really, but I feel the need to post here, especially if it involves ponies, so why not? Any thoughts on it would be cool too, but due to the speed this thread gets up to, I'm not really expecting feedback. :P

The best part about Washington? They love coffee so much, they got dozens of these little coffee drive-thru kiosks and many of them are manned by scantily clad ladies. One of them was the Foxy Lady and this girl had on this little corset and boots and it was awesome! Best way to receive coffee!
