That's what I said, and I will be doing anyways. But been talking on Wrangler Forum's and apparently a 4.0 Engine is designed to run at that temperature (reason why the Temperature Gauge has 210 as the normal temp with 280 being Red Zone), and it is common to see it run that hot.
But yep, changing the Thermostat and flushing Coolant JUST to be safe.
So the water and stuff can increase the rate of decay? My headers are a little discolored at the bottom to the Y pipe but otherwise still silver and shiny.
Yeah do that. Your temp should never really fluctuate from operating temp in normal conditions.
