as i lay down an ammunition pack and replenish my 600 shots i see a tank rolling up, i proceed to lay down 3 c4 as he rolls over them and i blow it up.... but still i think why am i doing this... who benefits from me killing a tank that could destroy all of us =/

I rarely find new bands that I like. Then again, I don't actively look for them. This one, I knew about for quite some time, but it was just one song on a movie soundtrack that I liked. Finally realized, "hey, I might like the rest of their stuff".

Well, I often look for bands in a genre that I feel really into at that point in time. Like, a couple of weeks ago I was looking for Depressive Black Metal, and a few months ago I was looking for Depressive Rock. In June, I was looking a Doom Metal and Gothic Metal.

I thought you would like Mercenary, but I wasn't sure. I mean, they are tech. death metal, with a melodic sound (/nerd) but they are still unique in their sound (especially due to their singer doing clear-vocals over many of the songs). If you want to investigate them I can recommend the Arcitect of Lies album, it's really good.
