So Mr. Eternal and I discussed what we're going to do with the renter's insurance money.

Step 1 will be to assess Luna (my computer), and do whatever needs to be done to get her up and running. Even if she needs a total rebuild from scratch, it will still be under $2,400.

Step 2 will be to split the rest between his and my credit cards to pay down those balances. We might set aside a portion to go into the savings account, but the details on that aren't finalized.

Mr. Eternal's decided that he's going to wait on the 9.2 surround sound for a while and that he's OK with the generic 2-speaker setup that we have. We both agreed we'd rather do something a little more practical with it, since it's not every day you come into this kind of money.
