Yay for notebook computers.
Expanding on my chuckle: I mentioned it awhile ago that I had a dream in which I got stuck in a haunted house; or warehouse, to be specific. Fully empowered, no less. After not having much luck bemusedly blasting a ghost that rose out of a stored bed, I tried a different approach.
Blew the place the F$%& up.
It had the unintended result of releasing the ghosts on the town. *ponyshrug* Don't know of the consequences, because I woke up at that point.

Chaos Theory was definitely my favorite Splinter Cell. I played them all on the xbox when they first came out. They had the whole series on sale for 75% off the last day of the steam sale so I impulse bought them all. They didn't have Pandora Tomorrow for some reason, though. I guess it has something to do with the shadows not working right on PC or something.
I'm going to love and tolerate the shit out of this sig:

I bought the first four in a 10 buck package from a pyramid. The first one and Chaos Theory were tremendously good, Pandora Tomorrow was okay-ish and Double Agent... Let's say I never got beyond the first few levels, just didn't kick in. Conviction was much different from the others, but still a good game. Not very Splinter Cell-ish, but still good.
But yeah, CT is my favorite Splinter Cell game too, they just did everything right there. Even if the Bathhouse was hellishly difficult.
I finished Double Agent on the 360 a long time ago. It was pretty good. Took me awhile, though. Kinda felt like I was just dragging myself through it.
Conviction is a lot different. A lot more action, less stealth. Really easy, too. It was still kind of fun, especially the co op.
I'm not liking the direction they're going with the franchise from the looks of their new game at E3, though. It's turning more into "be a bad ass super spy and kill roomfuls of guys in seconds!" which isn't what got me into the series at all.
