As long as I'd go with the unions work contract, my max would be 10h/d, 111h/3 weeks and I'd have a set minimum wage and all that nice stuff.

Huh. 12 hour shifts are extremely common at my shipyard. Some work 14 hour shifts.

You're talking about hours per week there?
My mum works a good +120'ish hours minimum per week.
Our financial situation has been shit for ½ a year (shit enough that we're selling our house), we're also paying for my drivers license & education, there was a car crash a few days back so that's one more to the list, my mum's and sisters rheumatism. I could keep on going but you get the idea.

I'm still living in the hopes of it turning out for the better.
