Rawr rawr rawr i say.
"Would you please let me join your p-p-party?
The priest they did right, it took them a while, but they got it.
The only annoying thing is going back to using SWP when it runs out after 2 years of it refreshing and not having dispel.
Shadow priests are pretty damn powerful, although i don't know my dps while only questing. I haven't stepped into any of the dungeons, raids, or scenarios yet so I can't say what we are good at so far.
My only beef is the final tier of our talents. Halo is the best, but it costs a large amount of mana and when you are grinding or questing you can't use it without pulling 9 other things considering it's huge range.
A lot of the shadow talents are not that great, Mind Blasts damage is sort of low, while you want to do nothing, but get Devouring Plague to 3 orbs so you can crit upwards of 150k with it and it's dot has amazing potential.
I don't like how VE has such a large cooldown, but it is necessary. Mind Sear sometimes has this odd wait time to finally deal damage. Shadow Word: Insanity is just plain awful from my testing.
I could go on, but I won't.
Oh man. I got second place
It was me on my custom Jund/haste deck against my RL friends brother on a planeswalker control deck. I just couldn't beat him - He played so good. So I had to throw my hat in there. We played best out of five and he won 3 times in a row, even though I only lost 2 other battles that night (And won like 10-13). It was super fun.
Also, lots of beer were had, and we did it all while listening to an AC/DC and Michael Jackson vinyl because his brother has a vinyl-player. That was amazing.
Sounds pretty promising. I'll not stray away from Shadow / Holy dual spec, so it's nice to know that at least the Shadow seems to work reasonably well. Refreshing SWP shouldn't be much of a deal, I tend to do it anyway occasionally when I'm confused, so I might as well return to a full rotation.
MJ on vinyl? Holy shit.
Also, I replied to you earlier when I woke up http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...8#post17712148
... I had forgot about this...
I played a Jund deck when it came out, but I thought it was a bit slow. So I exchanged all the big creatures like the dragons and stuff with Jund Hackblades and small 2/2 or 3/2 haste creatures. So the basic idea of it is a throw a haste creature down every round, and it might be small, but I will have a lot of them and I'll zap you with lightning bolt, blightning and such with the spare mana.
I made it myself, and I've never really met a counter deck to it. Until planeswalker control, but that's pretty much a counter to the game itself... Stupid freaking Bolas...
