Healing is much more exciting than DPS. As a DPS you just try to execute your rotation or priority queue as flawlessly as possible whilst not standing in fire. As a healer you get much more emotional, from total calm to "OH CRAP OH CRAP OH CRAP!" within seconds. I love the excitement.

Healing does not give me mental images of stabbing Ragnaros with a boat.

Overshadowed? I just like games which are more there for the experience than the competition, and seeing a building being ripped apart as the men inside are crying for reinforcement and a helo turns up with the gutwrenching sounds comming from the co pilots 50.cal explosive rounds that deafens your character and a plane newly shot down crashes behind you and showers you in debris.

No I don't think I would ever take up a game of CS ever again.

The reasons why I don't play it aren't because of that, and quite honestly thats a very big low. I could of gone on about how Frostbite2 is a hunk of unoptimized shit, but that wouldn't stop people from playing it, considering Crysis.
