That is the Opteron processor, and no it won't and the other way around too.
It's a processor made to work 24/7 and is used for server like operations, it's not made for gaming needs.

IB processors are not made to be working 24/7 and Intel got Xeon processors for that part. (Which is better than Opteron at that point too (I think))

AMD's thought is that the way to go is to improve in core count, (The opteron processor goes up to 16 cores currently)
Intel's thought is that improving the technology already made and making lesser core work more efficiently. (Which is why an 2.60ghz intel SB i5 can beat a phenomII 1090t 3.20 ghz in gaming and in other areas too.)

In my opinion I think AMD is going the right way, but they are finding so many good things they forget to optimize it. (Like the APU which is awesome in the way that the GPU and CPU can work together instead of having to talk to each other through the MB which in turn dramatically improves the efficiency of both, but because it's a new product it's just not worth it, and the hardware isn't near what a gamer would like to buy)
