Quite likely? Germany would have at least held on for several more years, and may have broken the back of the Allies. Russia was far more key to the defeat of Germany than the US was.

If Germany went straight to Moscow rather than doing a three-pronged derp attack on Stalingrad, Moscow, and Leningrad, they probably would have taken Russia out early.

The two front war may have worked had he not invaded Russia in winter. Trekking across Siberia in -15C weather, with all your equipment freezing because you don't know how to iceproof it, was the height of stupidity.

Well blame the greek for slowing us down :P
Also...blame japan for not attacking russia on a second front as they were supposed to...then russia would have been pressured too much to actually respond even with Wehrmacht sitting there during winter doing not much.
Or...blame noone because it might be bettert this way...

If Germany went straight to Moscow rather than doing a three-pronged derp attack on Stalingrad, Moscow, and Leningrad, they probably would have taken Russia out early.

Possibly, the timing was still working against them. They moved in the worst conditions to fight in Russia. The Russian troops let the cold do most of their work for them, then stomped what was left because they knew how to deal with the cold.

Japan was kinda mother-f***ed at that point. They weren't in any position to go poking Russia with the US moving island to island.

Blame Hitler's OCD with staying on his schedule rather than adapting to shifting tides in war. Guy was not flexible at all. Good thing for the Allies and Western Civilization...but from a war historian perspective.

Hitler was certainly a better orator than tactician. He was also arrogant. Definitely better for the world at large.
