I didn't play it for ages. But then I got an idea for a house, so I jumped on Golden Dragons server and built the house. Then I got the taste for it again, especially because all the new shit that has been included, so I set out to make a big project.

... If any of you are wondering, the reason the paint picture is called "Peepingmlp" is because I was listening to the Pony Swag when I made it, and they say "Peepin' MLP, makes you harder to the lactose", and I just wrote that and pressed enter....

And until the twins are fully built, I still wait to see what kind of technological horrors we've gotten ourselves into. Computer builds rarely go 100% smoothly. XD

Speaking of which, Mr. Eternal's current rig threw a total hissy fit trying to recover my data, and we suspect his OS drive is going bad because now one of the drives is making a horrific clicking sound. So now we're hoping that his computer stays alive long enough to build the twins, otherwise we're kind of screwed. XD

Oh and I'm a noob! Your picture looks lovely, looks like you showed those swords who's boss!

When the next patch comes, Book and Quill will be introduced, making you able to write 50 pages (with about 250 words on each page) in a book.

I am going to write random stuff in books and throw them around peoples houses. It will have to be a story, a good story, and then one book for each chapter. You will have to communicate and trade to get the whole story.

This is going to be fun. And an interesting experiement.

Good morning ponies! How is everyone today?

We bought the SSDs yesterday; we're doing 2 120-GB per computer and striping them. Then we're using a 7200 RPM conventional drive for data. Mine will be 3 TB because of all my video work, and his will be 1 TB, but they're still the same brand and speed so I still consider them twin enough. :P

Are you going to have only the OS and important programs on the SSDs?
I would recommend moving the whole user folder unto your HDD, that way, you won't fill up the SSD quickly (other than if you install loads of programs) and in case one of them fails, you'll still retain all your personal files. I saved my bum by doing that when my first SSD died.

Yes yes, I do that always. :P I like having the OS on its own partition or physical drive, and programs on its own partition or drive, and data on its own partition or drive, moving over My Documents and such to Data.

In Luna (my now-dead computer), I had a 1 TB split into OS and Programs, and another separate 1 TB drive for data.

Every time I log onto GD's Server, it's abandoned and all sad.

I mean, there's still awesome structures that appear when I log out, but still. We need more ponies.

Quite easy to deal with once you learn to tell the difference between a real chest and a mimic.
I just used my lightning Iaito to whack them.
