I disagree. The stat crunch is inevitable. Delaying it was stupid.

I honestly prefer seeing a 5k crit over a 150k crit.

I have been wanting that stat crunch when they announced it... then they didn't do it. Made me a sad Tauren. I honesty think the numbers and size of hp etc is damn stupid now Even my friend said it was obvious that they'd just pick the easy way and increase HP to massive levels.

Actually now that I think of it, there are a few things that, if they happened, would make me play WoW again.

First of all, the world needs to kill you. I think the worst thing blizzard ever did was take away elites from the world. Why would they do that? I remember being super scared everytime I ran around SG because there was that stupid elite dragon thing flying around. I want that back. Because sometimes you could kill the elites by kiting them through half the freaking map, and that feeling was awesome. It could keep you going for 2-3 more levels.

Take all the big numbers back and replace them with smaller numbers. I think the damage/HP/mana pools and regen ratios was very good in TBC. You felt like you were powerful, but you weren't a machine. In WotLK it because a bit "... So I basicly have more life than guards and various NPCs... I am a god", and Cata just went full retard on it.

Unique classes. And I'm not just talking about playstyle. I miss where you would have to have every class in the raid to get all the buffs. I miss having classes that gave strange things to the raid, like Soulstones or FF from the druids or even a pure dot-damage build from an affli lock that could do nothing but dot things and /wand them. I want that, because in Cata when I pvp'd it was alot like LoL: I didn't notice the class, I noticed the element of their damage and their nuke, the rest was trivial because it was all the same.

I think little things like that might redeem the game. I have a ton of other wishes, but at least those three are things I hope Blizz are not too blind to see is needed.

So it just hit me, at 04:07, that I haven't eaten all day. So I go out in the kitchen to get something to eat, mostly out of princip because I'm not hungry, and then I just start throwing up.

I think I better go to bed. If this continues I'll call a doctor in the morning.

I haven't explored much of the BETA for the elite thing but anyway, regarding classes.
So far as I can see classes function so much different than they are now. In my opinion, as you have stated you want. Every class so far seems unique and each has their own playstyle; particularly Warlock where each spec has different resources for the abilities.

The HP and stuff though? Yeah I can understand that, I really don't like it myself; I seriously hope they crunch the stats in the expansion after (hopefully Emerald Dream...) they are absurd at the moment.
