You make it sound like people in anger act without care and without thought, and I do not think that is correct. I would argue that when we act in a fit of rage or anger, we are not ourselves at all. It's an emotion run wild, saying anger is pure is the same thing as saying we are only true to ourselves when we are melancholic.
