Yeah, it's pretty friggin' dumb. I'm saddened that there won't be more testing one way or the other, because testing fighting games is really important--they have to make sure everything works, there's no gamebreaking bugs, but most of all, the testers help the devs determine if the game is going to have the longevity that they want it to (i.e. are there things that will both remain hidden for a long time [on the order of several years], and that will have a significant impact on how the game plays [it's a big, important thing, not just a gimmick]).

Buuut I'm heartened by the fact that the devs are all guys from Shoryuken, because when it comes to fighting games--hardcore ones, mind, not SSB--those guys know their shit.

Also, given that they're planning on releasing a good amount of other characters, it seems almost guaranteed that there'll also be continuous balance patches as the game matures, which always helps.

Yeah, they're 'punishing' the community in a way, but now the guy who leaked it isn't just gonna get his shit shoved in by the devs, everyone who wasn't involved and didn't download the leaked version is gonna be queuing up to shove his shit in, too. Social humiliation.

I can't say I 100% agree with their call, but it's a very harsh punishment, and it also serves as a very loud and very clear warning to anyone who might be thinking about keeping the leaked version up.

Am I the only one who can't get League of Legends to work? Every time I open the client and press "play" nothing happens. I've tried over 20 times, restarted my computer over 5 times, and even reinstalled and nothing worked.
