Either way, just send me a PM. I really do like helping people. I think I sadly scared Frey away though. I feel horrible about it, but there isn't much I can do. Some of the best teaching you can get comes from when the teacher is actually critiquing your work directly. They can point out specific things that are wrong with it to help the student learn from it.

I even tried to put a disclaimer at the end to try and reinforce that. Sadly didn't help much.

Again though, just PM any questions or artwork specifically, and then I'll get around to it when I can.

You're right. I've played enough fishing simulators in RPG games to know how to do this.

I don't know how to explain it, even though I've done it a lot of time. I even managed to catch some fish! Anyway, just look it up, and if that doesn't explain it, ask for help tomorrow from whoever you're fishing with.

The procrastination of the comic keeps stemming from me not thinking it's good enough. I've gone through so many different kinds of stories with it now that it almost never actually sticks. This ones sticking pretty well though, but I still feel I need more art practice. (still very slow when it comes to drawing)

While I agree with you, I still need to state that no really famous zombie game has ever been released that was focused around survival. The closest we have is Dead Rising, and... That's not really about survival.

And the DayZ mod is a mod for ARMA-II, so it's not something that the game was actually made for. The mod is just so popular it is considered a game in itself.

Okay fellows, i come to thee seeking advice on fanfics.
I myself am an avid reader, although of shipfics for most part.
Recently i saw EQD frontpage notice on this fanfic: http://www.equestriadaily.com/2012/0...m-of-dawn.html And that got me quite excited.

To summarise what got me excited: what i would call a "wrong villain" method.

In my definition, "wrong villain" can be one of the two:

1) Someone inherently evil (lets say, using terms from MLP, Nightmare moon, or Discord) does his/her usual evil stuff, but suddenly stars align and due to sheer coincidence the acts of evil actually become acts of good, and the villain finds him/herself in the position of a hero.
2) Someone inherently considered evil is not actually evil, and is struggling to come out of that shell (do not mistake with "being a jerk". Im talking actual evil) - good example would be Past Sins.


While im interested in (2) as well, i would say (1) is something i would sell my last cookie for.

So can anypony suggest some fic that they know with this "method" of storytelling?
