So, I just learned that when buying my first car, my parents are going to match what I pay. Considering up until now I was basing everything off of me paying buy myself, this is awesome. Opens up a whole lot more models to choose from.

I'm 16. So i'm old enough for one, but my mom won't take me to go GET one, which sucks. If i leave highschool being unable to drive i would probably be pissed.

I thought you were close to my age. Yeah, that would suck. Luckily, I'll (hopefully) be getting mine September 11 this year. If I pass the test at the end of August.

from what i know the test isn't hard if you study a bit, take like 1 or 2 practice tests, then you'll do fine. But at the same time that's here in the US, no idea how it is over there.

Well, I've done most of the 356 practice questions, of which 40 or so will be on the test. Mostly, they're just simple basic knowledge ones, so I should be fine. The only issue is that getting an alcohol/drug or speeding question wrong is an instant fail, so I need to make sure I know those off by heart.

As far as I know, here in sweden as long as you go to one lecture and you bring papers on that your eye sight and health is fine you get a learners permit

Oh damn really? And alright so it sounds just about the same, except for maybe the last bit. We have like 25 questions or something, we are only allowed to get 2 wrong, anymore and it's a fail. But from the practices i've done, it's just basic knowledge for the most part.

Yeah. In Australia, at least, it's just a theory test, with 40 or so common sense questions.

IMO you shouldn't be driving a car until you're at least 18.
