As far as I know, here in sweden as long as you go to one lecture and you bring papers on that your eye sight and health is fine you get a learners permit

Well, if you got glasses strong enough to make you have normal eye sight with em on its not a issue.

Oh damn really? And alright so it sounds just about the same, except for maybe the last bit. We have like 25 questions or something, we are only allowed to get 2 wrong, anymore and it's a fail. But from the practices i've done, it's just basic knowledge for the most part.

Yeah, I'm redoing the practice questions now, and they're really easy. I reckon I'll pass on my first try.

My eye site is a bit diminished with glasses but it's good enough for me to see stuff. without them though, i'm pretty much blind. all I can see is color and movement, any fine details are already lost.

I have pretty much perfect sight in my right eye, but terrible vision with my left eye.
Not quite as bad as what you're describing, but pretty goddamn awful.

Well, it's at a course that goes over the weekend, and there are 3 tries to pass the test there. If you fail all three (and you have to be really bad to do that) then you have to pay $30 to redo the test.

pay 30 dollars just to do a test . . . well at least it isn't like my SATs where i have to pay 150 just for one try. :/ but already i see what you mean. Still, best of luck to ya.

I'm lucky, because my eyesight is pretty good. Most of my family has to wear glasses though, so I'm afraid I'll need to at some point as well.

Well you know how 20/20 is perfect eye sight right? Well from what I know the number keeps increasing, dictation how poor it is, but i'm wondering how bad does it have to be to be UNDER 20.

I don't think Sweden uses the same measurement for eye sight so I have no idea.
