I already had it to where I could scroll out so far I could barely see my character for sarth. So yea, already set for Maly lol. Also made it way easier to intercept the scions in p2 maly.

My camera always hated me so I always had to do it manually and it took me a while to realize my camera was zooming itself in >_<. Actually, the macro I have for increasing my camera distance was originally due to Sarth, iIrc. Also, time for sleep.

Job experience and availability are really what get you work now. Entry level work is exceedingly difficult to get into now which the older generations can't seem to grasp.

Twas also the easiest moronic fight anyone could do (unless you did it hard mode (why would you do that?)) When I raided, we completed the fight ASAP, and then jizzed all over the rest of the instance.

I still remember solo'ing the first boss of Uld for money and titanite on my engineer at the end of Wrath.

It's next to impossible to truly compare considering how different the game is in each era on its own.

Compared to the raiding we saw by a lot of the other guilds it sure was casual. Hell the one I am in now was a direct competitor for the guild I was in during BC and they raided for the time I said before with 5 nights a week and 5 hours a night and were not as far as us. Although now the guild I am in, competitor before, is now #1 on the server for 25 mans because we are the only ones doing it and like 5th on the server overall.

Well, I have experience in certain areas, and my availability is basically "I'll work all 26 hours of the day, 8 days of the week, which includes the 2 fictional hours between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Catilsday" So yeah.

That is definitely something that would be nice to have back. As long as it is done the right way. Illidari Council was one of those fights where if the mage screwed up the raid immediately wiped.

I'd say come up here and get a job where I work Pend, but that would almost be impossible now since they now decided to only hire every 3 months now. I don't see the 2 people they did hire out of the 20 that applied even lasting a month either.

Well, yeah. But it would be amusing to have an Illidan style ranged tank (constant AOE aura) with the boss blinking around and summoning adds for the melee to deal with.

Well when the warlock tanking was involved it was simple because of their aggro heavy spells, unless the player sucked, but for something like the Ogre Council having a druid tank until the raid was ready to get to the caster wasn't all that hard.

It felt casual to me, but I guess we were more hardcore because my step-dad's guild was even more casual than we were.

Yes, they still do it on purpose. While they should make more show accurate, still remember that this is a show that is supposed to be for a younger female group of viewers.

This is still arguing semantics. From a hardcore standpoint (Paragon, Ensidia, etc) it's very casual, from a casual "whenever we feel like it (which can still be many hours per day, but only 1 day per week)" standpoint, it's really hardcore. This also comes down to personal interpretation, as both you and Don have exhibited.
