Closer, but still a bloody headache. Jeeps are fun as hell until it falls apart around you. Just a bad time at the moment, but after this is all finished, it'll run great again. Funny thing however, while working on my Jeep, this car parked next to me was owned by some girl. She didn't do anything to checks on her car, and let the oil run dry and now the engine has literally fell apart on her with a clearly loose part inside the engine block clunking around while operating. She was getting chewed out by her parents on how stupid she was. To take apart the engine costs easily 1000 dollars if you took it to a mechanic. To find out the damage caused by a lose part clunking around inside it while in operation, I don't even want to think about it.
Sucks for them, but it has made me realize that with my rather basic knowledge of engines, I know how to do regular maintenance on car. Change out my own oil, know when something is wrong with it before it damages the vehicle like my engine running hot due to a bad water pump. I honestly would hate to have no idea how a engine runs like she did. She had no idea how to check her engine oil, and I had to show her. That little check every week could've saved her thousands.
Going to need to call my dad and thank him for letting me hold the flashlight while he worked on his stupid old caravan.
