Borderlands was pretty amazing. I don't think I ever played anything else from them though.

The cool thing with halo PC they did is they gave modders the exact same tools bungie used to make maps. The bad thing is that you had to use separate clients. (there was the standard HPC client, and Halo Custom Edition).

I used to be pretty active in that community and I think its still pretty active to date. From what I heard you can do some pretty insane stuff with it now like zombie modes and stuff.

They got most their hype from DNF honestly, and it wasn't really positive obviously. I want to say they made a lot of the stupid decisions to rush out the game, but then again it seemed very similar to the bad things that happened with halo PC.

Borderlands was already a very well selling and popular game before they finished DNF and released it. Also, they didn't make all of DNF. They pretty much only made the ending of it, and just kept most of the shit other studios had made in the past for most of it. Poor decision, but nothing anyone could do now.

You should. Very fun game, very unique graphics style, totally self aware humor and it instills item hoarding like only Diablo 2 did before. It has it's issues, but overall a very decent game.

I enjoyed that the weapons were random generated, i heard about a shotgun that fired rockets. some thing like 6 million gun variations.

Yeah. I think the reason why I ended up liking mass effect despite the crappy RPG elements it withheld is because the combat is pretty good and straight forward. The missions all make sense and there is never a time I feel like I'm grinding for a quest or something.

For as much as I resisted it, ME2 is pretty enjoyable and I quite liked the combat. Though not being able to leap over cover and roll like in ME3 kinda sucks a bit, but its still pretty solid combat wise.

I still haven't finished ME2 cause once ME3 came out and I read about the ending my motivation was crushed.

Heh, yeah, I will not be picking up ME3 until I can get it for $25 or less.

ME2 had quite a few praises though, so I'm casually optimistic about the game as a whole.
