Looking for information about Multiplayer servers

Well after playing by myself and with my girlfriend for nearly a year in minecraft im now interested in finding a multiplayer server to play on.

Starting off i was wondering if anyone had access to a good list of servers to start with. Also if anyone knows of a decently populated server with alot of chaotic things going on (raids, people going crazy with tnt, setting other peoples structures ablaze) i would be very interested in that.
