What Race/Profession are you going to play as when GW2 comes out?

At the moment I'm leaning toward sylvari ranger for my first. Kinda odd as ranger was not even on my radar at first. Something just kinda clicked in the limited amount of time I played it. The only sticking point was the pet was kinda useless and and unresponsive. also more often than not in the way camrawise when doing something like a jumping puzzle. Hopefuly they can fix that up a bit and it will be golden.
After that I'm looking at, in no particular order:
Human warrior
Asuran necromancer
Norn Elementalist
Charr Engineer. (remake of my beta toon)

I like the idea of 2hand sword caster with lazers so most likely Mesmer, was saving it for final beta(hope it's as fun as it looks). Also don't happen to see many players playing them, always enjoy playing low represented classes.

Last stress test i made a human necro and the hole human area was necro and elementalist I wonder if that just has something to do with race.

I think I'll be a Char Necro. The Char storyline from what I've seen is really interesting. If only they didn't nerf the way I liked to play my guardian.

When I make alts it'll prob to be for more story. The personal story was interesting.

I'm leaning towards a Sylvari Mesmer. The whole plant-people thing just seems awesome to me, and I really like the concept of the mesmer. Also, from what I've seen of the gameplay, they seem like they have the potential to be the highest skill-cap profession - which means they'll remain fun to play for the longest amount of time (despite possibly being frustrating at first).

I will admit, however, that the fact that the Charr run on all fours out of combat makes them incredibly compelling as well.

I'm making a Human Engineer to start out with. I even have ideas for my alt characters definitely going with Norn Warrior and I'm really leaning towards Sylvari Elementalist as well, the whole thought of playing a character that is born from nature who wields nature magic sounds very fitting so yeah that's definitely on the list of must make characters.

I'm pretty sure I pegged down i'd make the following combinations Human Elementalist/Norn Ranger/Charr Necro/Asura Engineer/Sylvari Mesmer not big on melee so other 3 are out unless their ranged wep options become super viable down the line.

I still can't decide on a race... I'm thorn between Human and Asura otherwise my main will be a Guardian. I just don't feel like Asura and a Guardian go well together but it might just be me grrr!
