A Poop Quest Compendium!

I made this thread on the official wow forums, then it got locked for it getting "necrod" later in the year. I did get the OK to repost on the wow forums; however, I'd like to make a copy of that original thread here. I'd just like to keep this list going for players who would appreciate this sort of compendium...I'll only be adding to this thread if players submit new quests that they have discovered, or to respond to players who have a question regarding poop quests.

I have decided to start a list of all the poop quests available in game, from Eastern Kingdoms to Northrend to Pandaria. I need your help in order to make my list complete.

Why poop quests, you ask? Because they're fun!

Poop crosses all sociocultural barriers, including race, age, religion and gender. Everyone poops--it's a fact of life. While admittedly not everyone finds poop to be inherently funny, poop affects all of our lives in a profound way.

Besides, what's wrong with a little toilet humor?

The list of poop quests that I am aware are in game are listed below. Please feel free to let me know which quests I am missing, and for what faction(s) the quest is available.

Azsharite Experiment Number One (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=14385); Azsharite turns out to be something else entirely...[credit goes to Adramalech for finding this quest]

Bravo Company Field Kit: Camouflage (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=26636); collecting fox poop and leaves in order to create camouflage kits for the Alliance offensive in Redridge Mountains.

Befriending Giants (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=14377); you discover the true nature of azsharite.

Going, Going, Guano! (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=26901); collecting Kraul guano from the bats inside Razorfen Kraul.

Shizz Work (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=10629); Hellfire Peninsula quest involving a fel hound, boars, and digging through some poop to find a key.

A Rare Bean (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=9800); collecting poop for the Earthen Ring in Nagrand.

Funky Fungi (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=13204); a rather sneaky poop quest--you find out later that the fungi you've been carrying around is actually Savage Beast poop.

Scare the Guano Out of Them! (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=11154); drop firecrackers underneath the bats hidden in the trees in Howling Fjord so that you may collect their guano.

A Question of Gluttony (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=9702) which has you collecting the Bog Lords' "Discarded Nutriment." [credit goes to Belmyra-Gnomeregan for finding this quest]

Lupus Pupus (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=11728); Iggy "Tailspin" Cogtoggle sends you into the Scalding Pools to collect microfilm ingested by local wolves the old-fashioned way.

Doing Your Duty (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=12227); (my personal favorite) what happens when eating an innocent-looking bunch of berries goes so very, very wrong.

Mists of Pandaria:

Pooped (http://mop.wowhead.com/quest=31704) [daily quest]; collect 6 pieces of tiny poop.

Gourmet Kafa (http://mop.wowhead.com/quest=30743) [credit goes to Nalin-Nesingwary for finding this quest], placing flags in goat poop for an npc so he can go back and collect the beans, as an homage to the practice of making Kopi Luwak, the world's most expensive coffee.

Materia Medica (http://mop.wowhead.com/quest=30081/materia-medica)[credit goes to lodiosa for finding this quest]; helping to relieve some constipated Pandaren by creating a powerful laxative.

I think that quest chain is long gone. I don't remember if it was part of the "I am Demon" chain from Blasted Lands or the chain for the succy in LBRS but it was funny. Some of it was crystalized in the shapes of the people that the giants had eaten.

In a quest called Materia Medica in Krasarang Wilds, there is a village of sad pandaren and a hozen thinks they are all sad because they are constipated. So he haves you gather materials so he can make a laxative and he gives the laxative to a pandaren.

Seriously though, thanks for this I always like to make fun of Blizzard while questing with friends and finding that same poop quest we did last time we played alts, or when we stumble upon a new one and laugh about yet another.

I remember the Azshara part of the quest chain well. You had to free NPCs from lumps of Azsharite. The quest chain overall was really epic, sprawled over several zones and nobody felt compelled to do it to get an item they could use in raids. Entirely optional and a fair chunk of it could be done on your own.

In fact I still have the dagger from the chain, because I kept meaning to finish it off someday. Bit late now. :P

Funnily enough, we're getting a new puppy on Saturday (a golden retriever this time) and I was ordering a new poop scoop and some other puppy-related supplies when I saw this thread was bumped. I'm taking it as a sign that there is going to be a lot of poop in my immediate future...luckily puppy poop is cute poop...for the first few weeks, anyway...
