Yea a lot of people I meet/know hate the backstory/side stories/aftermath of LoTR.
I like that movie precisely because it is so retarded. That was for Buenos Aires you damn roaches!
As for me:

I didn't hate that game, so much as was massively disappointed. You could tell it was a rushed job. Had BioWare taken a bit more time to create more interiors rather than copy and paste, and perhaps create a better ending (why should I fight Orsino if I sided with the Mages?) DA2 would have been awesome. As it is now, it is an alright game. Though I do think that the premise of the game doesn't really work for an RPG as it keeps you inside the same city for the entire game. We should have explored most of the Free Marches and not seen much of Kirkwall after Act I, or treated Kirkwall as a hub like Denerim is in DA:O.4. Dragon Age II
The combat system was alright and the voice actors (well, this is BioWare after all) were good and it was an entertaining game. Just not up to par with most other BioWare games because they rushed it.

There are people who hate Inuyasha? That's a shocker. I like Gen 5 as a game, and all the new things it brought, I'm just not a fan of the majority of the Pokemon. Blenders, garbage bags, and ice cream cones aren't valid models. >.> Nintendo is awesome, and I didn't know there were people who didn't like fish. My family eats it, like, daily.
All the generations were awesome, though I prefer 2 and 3 over the rest.
Dragon Age II was amazing. Will never understand why people hated it.

1) Kids cartoons, not just MLP but adventure time, avatar, regular show, flapjack, classics like dexters lab, courage, cow+chicken, powerpuff girls etc.
2) Chibi/cell shaded Link games like Phantom Hourglass (although tbf, I like 99% of all zelda games anyway)
3) "Casual" games. I love long rpgs and action games morrowind, fallout, bioshock etc, but that doesn't change the fact sometimes you just want to play a game that requires no thought for a few minutes, like angry birds, cooking mama(recommended to me by a guy) bejeweled etc. It's like a commercial break in between long in depth games!
4) Reading - can't seem to mention reading without being judged as a hipster for some reason, I never push books onto people but when people ask my interests I sometimes get blank stares when I mention books.
5) Asian Dramas - I get big judgement from this, because a lot of the acting is people acting like they are actually animated people. But that's what makes it funny and interesting to me. I find a lot of the stories have more character development than the west and you love the characters more. In Boys Before Flowers for example, I feel like in the western version they would just have sex in the 3rd episode but because it's eastern, kissing is the peak so there is a lot more tension. Or like the horror movie shutter, the asian version was scary, the american version added a random sex scene in the middle. Just makes no sense sometimes.
