Just FYI, GW2 support is wonderful.
Yesterday I sent them mail asking can they fix my double account mess
- I have digital deluxe edition pre-purchased May 10h
- I linked digital deluxe to GW1 account
- I regret that I didn't get CE and all retailers had 0 left
- Yesterday I saw retailer that had couple CE's left, so I bought it since I did not want to miss the opportunity to get it.
- I sent mail to GW2 support about this mess
They just replied to me that ofc they can refund DE if I send then info about purchase and also included instructions how to activate CE. I called to CE retailer to be sure that really had CE's left and that they have sent game code to me. Then I sent confirmation about refund to GW2 support (didn't dare to cancel DE before I was sure that I really had CE).
