Then don'T worry about that, as i said, if noone is OP then noone can use TooManyItems to spawn 109380 of everything. And even if they did, its announced and logged in the server.
My point is, why does the world have to be reset for you to have a new world?
Run for 10 minutes due north, you'll be absolutely in the complete middle of nowhere, drop everything (on route) and you'll have no items. You'll be completely isolated, started again in a completely new environment, but everyone who doesn't want to do that doesn't have to suffer the consequences. If i'd finished my castle and got bored, I could do the same and start completely fresh, without you having to lose what you'd done. I know Ana was against Tekkit, and possibly the new world, Geng had only just joined the server. I just feel like it's a case of "oh well, you weren't online, so rather than us taking the steps within this world to make a completely fresh start, why not delete everything everyone has worked for, and start again.
How many times was the "infiniteness" of the map mentioned?
I just don't see setting up a completely new world as the fair and sensible approach when everyone could have been happy with the current world. Hell, you coulda enabled creative mode for everyone who wanted a new world so they could get to their new location millions of miles away quicker.
I don't mean to aim this at you perse, but I just find it unbelievable the method and speed with which this was all done when none of it was necessary. If the server was updated to Tekkit, sure, there'd need to be a new world generated (I think), but Tekkit wasn't installed, so no new world was needed.
