What would you do if someone spat in your face?

Someone has spit in my face before, for the first 2 seconds I was in disbelief that someone had actually done it. I was in a band class in the school I had been attending, and a person who was in my group, for a reason that escapes me, walked up to me and spit right in my face. After the first 2 seconds, I remember everything just fading to white for an instant, the next thing I knew, I was being dragged off the guy by everyone else in the group (about 8-9 people). I had apparently flown into such a rage, that I had bludgeoned him with my trombone. He had to have stitches in his face (I don't remember the exact amount) and I was nearly expelled, but do to the other people in the group telling the school board what had happened, I was only suspended for a week and I wasn't allowed to sign up for the class the next year. I'm not usually a violent person (more often than not I will avoid confrontation), but when someone spits in my face, they aren't going to walk away without getting their ass kicked.

A bird shit on my head when I was walking down the street one day, and I turned around and saw a man twice my size smiling. I immediately hocked a loogey in his face, kicked him in the groin and started slamming my knee into his face from a Thai clinch. When my friend pulled me off of him, I found out that a bird had shit on my head or I would have kept going. I seriously thought that dude had spit on the back of my head.

Ive had that happen, and I broke my hand on his face about 1 second afterwards, kinda like a reflex action.

Tbh, you never know what kind of diseases people have so I didnt regret doing it at all.

A guy did that long ago when I still went to school, basicly I pushed him against a wall and "neck choked" him and yelled at him .. He never bothered me again(he was a problem kid)

Had some younger kid do that once while I was playing basketball, and I just reacted by pushing him off his feet. I was just stunned after that though and swore at him.

If someone spat in my face, i'd spat back adding various heavy insults to taunt him.
The moment he hits me, i'm free to beat him down as i like because i'd be just self-defending.

nothing. i would wipe it off, turn around and walk away. clearly, this peson is not worth my time.

if they laughed, or said anything else after that, it's on. time to teach them a lesson. I hate bullies, and getting laughed at or mocked is where i draw the line. If it was a woman, probably wouldn't resort to actual punching, but i might sweep the leg and make her fall on her ass, then spit back.

I have been spat in the face.

It was my first day on the job at the shittiest hostel imaginable. Think faulty towers with a bi-polar owner and the place isn't sound to sleep in. I was running around trying to sort everyone out, and people kept coming in. Someone came in with a booking when we were full up. I didn't know it just yet, but my boss was the worst boss imaginable, in her mind money now is better than money later. If someone was booked in advance but another guy called her up she would just send them down instead to overwrite the poor peoples booking that they'd made from another fucking country.

Anyway a couple came in with a booking and we had no space for them, I was trying my best to figure something out and talking to them, when another guy came downstairs and said it was raining in his room, onto his bed. He couldn't shut the window. I frantically asked the couple to wait a second and ran up into the first floor dormitory. The window was held open by a place mat shoved in the corner of the window and rain was pouring into the bunkbed. They were really heavy old windows that open upwards, and as I was messing around trying to get it closed, it slammed shut on my fingers.

I started howling and at this point the guy of the couple with the booking came into the room, he'd followed me upstairs but hadn't seen the window fall down. He was angry that I'd run off and thought I was trying to avoid them or just hide until they leave. I was trying my best to explain, and then he spat in my face. I didn't do anything at all, I just looked at him stunned and then his wife finally got him to leave. I was pretty shocked about the whole thing and the room was now empty so I just cried for a bit. I don't know why but spit seemed far worse to me than being yelled at or a slap or anything. I just felt disgusted and upset.

Worst job ever though, and I actually stuck it out 3 years because I had no other options, during which plenty shit things happened.

edit- I think it was worse to me because I was innocent, if I was arguing with someone and they spat in my face I might get angry instead, but I somehow felt really emotional because I hadn't done anything but this guy thought I was scum, and I didn't enjoy how that felt.

I'd get violent. I have had it happen once, way way back in the 5th grade. I don't remember why the guy had it out for me but he spat in my face. I was sitting in my desk and he was standing. I just sat there shocked for a second, then lifted my leg and kicked him in the stomach.

in general, that is. it all comes down to the particular situation and how they react to pain. in my mind, you use violence as retaliation only enough to tell that person that they can't get away with shit like that. Not for vengeance tho.

It all depends on the circumstance. If it was by accident somehow would be not a huge thing but if they did it on purpose I would slap them in the face most likely.

If it was an accident I would probably let it go, maybe make fun fun of their inability to control bodily fluids.

If it was on purpose I would probably pick up the nearest objuect and crack them upside the head with it.
