WoW will be kept on being made until it's no longer profitable. And in reality, that will never happen.

Why do you say 2014? They have 2 more expansions planned after MoP. So in lines with other expansion that would put it at 2016 or maybe 2017 when the last expansion would be released. The only thing that would make Blizzard stop making expansion is the player base. If people are still playing it, they will continue to create for it. Look at Everquest, it's what 15 or so years old and they are still making expansion and content for it.
It wouldn't matter much to me, as there will be plenty of other MMO's to take its place. And if the new expansions are as bad as the garbage we got in Cataclysm, I'll be happy to see WoW run its course.
Assuming WoW comes to an end in 2014, which I doubt, I'll probably move on to greener pastures.

I cant forsee WoW dying anytime soon. its still the top MMO that " Hooks you back " Most people bicth about stuff in WoW, Most people beat the last last boss in an EXP then claim theres nothing to do, Most people say PvP is etc etc etc. you get the point yet they still pay 15 a month they quit and yet they come back a month later.
Theres a Sea of good MMO's out there. Then again you have to be a legit MMO'er like me to understand there is, Most Trolls and "ITZ-OLY-A-GD-MMO-iFU-CN-RAID- gamers will find disapointment. But yeah back on topic, WoW will not die. Like people say. If it still makes Bilz money. Wow has a future.
