I'm happy. Always wanted to play this game but wasn't interested enough to buy it/pay a subscription (for various reasons). Depending on how I like it at higher levels and their pricing structure, I can see myself possibly subscribing or purchasing some piecemeal content.

Content comes out u don't like it then you skip it and wait for the next i myself can't wait i hope they don't limit the Credits u can have in it super low like DCU's DCU is the worse f2p model i have seen.

I'm genuinely surprised how quickly they did this, but I guess it makes sense to try and get in there before people jump ship (DAT RINE) to Guild Wars 2 and Mists of Pandaria. I still expected it to be closer to Christmas.

No rational person thought that a star wars game was going to take 5 million subscribers from world of warcraft.

Actually it's F2P with a Sub option to automatically have access to all the content.

Please, for the love of God, let this phrase die. I see it thrown around more by doom-sayers for a game than anyone touting the latest MMO. That's been true since the first rumors of SW:ToR started over 6 years ago. Let it go.

The F2P with optional subscription isn't that surprising. EQ uses it to keep going. I honestly see most MMOs going with this in the future.

I'll probably play again when it goes F2P (or even before), although I won't have much time between MoP and GW2.

Because the F2P model sucks. If you really want to do anything in game you end up spending more than you would on a sub. Not to mention major increase in trolls and idiots that will join since it is free
