I am so sick of generic fantasy world nr 38498374893 that just does the same old hashed out "humans #1" theme. I'd like to see the elves get the spotlight for once as a power in their own right and not some age thousands of years ago. So I shall respectfully disagree with the notion that humans ought to occupy a paramount place in a fantasy setting. It's been done, give other themes some breathing space too.
You realize Elves currently are a 'power in their own right'? They're also being pretty prickish about it. They were pretty prickish about it the last time they had power, too.

Bethesda will deliver high-class single player game. Todd Howard himself stated that they don't like the idea of coop or multiplayer in their games.
Well, I'm not really up to date on the MMO, so I hope you're right.

Would be fun to get to visit the Redguard or the lizardpeople I can't remember the name of. And no I haven't played anything earlier than Oblivion.

I hope they don't go for stand alone sequels but instead make expansions the same size as Skyrim. You know, same graphics and game play but located somewhere else with its own campaign.

Kind of like Fallout 3 and New Vegas.

Just look at how retarded the lore in Warcraft series has gotten with WoW. MMOs aren't very good storytelling tools.
You either kill off lots of well known bosses in a short time, leaving you with very little to work with very fast. Or you replace all the enemies with generic nobodies, but that means nobody gets really excited to take down these bosses.

In the end it will become a lot like WoW. They constantly have to add horrible lore and retcons to fit their gameplay needs.

I would've loved to see a Warcraft 4 RTS. But with the lore added in WoW I don't think it could even be good anymore. And let's face it, Blizzard won't even stop with WoW now. Like you said, it's their format now.

As cool as an Elder Scrolls MMO 'could' be, the chance for screw up is WAY too big.

Anyway, let's say that a new Singleplayer Elder Scrolls game will be made, I'd like to see either Summerset Isle/Valenwood or Black Marsh with parts of Morrowind.
Just because a boss wasn't in Warcraft 3 doesn't mean they are a 'generic nobody'. New bosses have to be created. It would be shitty work for them to go 8 years now without creating new lore, and simply relying on characters from a game that's a decade old.

well we haven't gotten a full size expansion yet for skyrim(dawnguard just a quest line) and they did say they wanted to make expansions feel really epic and big(i guess like tribunal but bigger) I mean tribunal was pretty damn big and frickin awesome quests and area would've loved to have been able to go outside though

There's talk of an expansion to Skyrim? I mean, like a huge expansion pack, not some shiny DLC.

haven't heard anything new on these things yet but i remember when they were releasing skyrim they wanted bigger, better xpacs instead of short questlines that lasted like 6 hours. They wanted to aim for 30+ hours minimum each xpac(ofc their 30 hours is different than ours) but still ik that these ones are just dlcs and they're im sure hard at work on a big xpac

Don't care as long as it's single player, without any multiplayer crap (because it drains resources that could be otherwise spend on single player). Most likely it's going to be in one of new areas or maybe revisit one of first 3 games, since they're very old and very dated.

Doubt it. The beast races aren't very popular with the majority of players, so I don't think there will be any serious accent put on them.

    ALL OF TAMRIEL!

To me, it seems the most likely candidate would be High Rock, and some of the major storylines are involving politics.

From what I understand this is why the MMO is being made by a completely different team, so as not to take resources away from future single-player games.

NOTE2: I know TES:O is doing it, but they're only doing small parts of each.
Actually, it wouldn't be impossible. In fact, Bethesda pretty much already did that in Daggerfall. But it required a lot of quick travel options due to the great distances, but it took play in several countries across the entire continent, so no, it is by no means impossible.

    Okay, this is my prediction:

It's gonna' be Valenwood or The Sommerset Isles-or both (I don't see them doing all of Tamriel, but I can plausibly see them putting in multiple provinces). They set up the Aldmeri Dominion to be hated by players, they can't just ignore that now. I think it's safe to say it won't be The Black Marsh or Morrowind-the former is already set up as inhospitable to non-Argonians and the latter is virtually destroyed. Hammerfell and Cyrodiil redos are possibilities I suppose due to events there, but I doubt it. Which leaves Skyrim (which has been done waaaaaay too recently), Elsewyr (which someone already pointed out would be rather underwhelming due to mod depictions) and High Rock. High Rock could be thrown in with Hammerfell, I suppose, not unlike in Daggerfall, but then it would be sort of an attachment, not a main area-nothing's happening there!
The storyline I imagine will not mention the actual civil war in Skyrim since mentioning it beyond the beginning would implicate one side as the winner, thus alienating half their base (Go go Empire, woot woot woot!). It will have a bit of a delay from Skyrim-another decade or so? I think the Dragonborn could be claim to be the rightful emperor, which I think could be a lot of fun as long as you don't meet them or see them, obviously. The Dark Brotherhood will have just been said to be "lost" and inactive at the moment (which would render them unusable for 6). Later on, they can say it was either dormant or revived and nobody knows the truth. Other than that, it should be interesting, since my guess is that for anyone who doesn't play as a mer will have the odds stacked against them in some respects-the Aldmeri Dominion is, if nothing else, oppressive, xenophobic, and almost as racist as Sheogorath is mad. And of course, in the process, you take down the Aldmeri Dominion a notch, if not entirely. Perhaps kick them out of Valenwood, or something?

Oh, and if they put in multiplayer, I'm boycotting it. I love them to death, but no multiplayer. It's a waste of their resources to do online multiplayer, and co-op doesn't work-how could you have 2 Dragonborns, for example? It's not the same. Unless they make you a generic person, which is a move away from everything they've done-you are always a main figure.

Cyrodill and Summerset, re forge the Empire with a Dragonborn emperor, crush the dominion. As much as I want to see another Morrowind setting, this seems more likely.

I'd like to go back in time and be the catalyst of the dwarves disappearing. That might be entertaining.
