(H - Deathwing) Zen: Semi-Hardcore Raiding in a Fun Atmosphere!
Zen of Deathwing is a Level 25 guild looking to expand our roster! We're a semi-hardcore guild with an 8-12 hour raid schedule running on two to three nights. We currently run two 10-man cores, but would like to add additional cores, and are considering 25s for Mists.
We're a small guild of mature adults with a family atmosphere, whose members are all playing to have fun.
Our Mists raid schedule is:
Tuesday: 7-11 MST
Wednesday: As needed during progression, 7-11 MST
Thursday: 7-11 MST
These times translate as: 9EST, 8CST, 6PST. MST is located at UTC -7.
We're currently recruiting strong players for both cores to finish out DS! We're currently 8/8H, and looking to fill cores to ensure all of our members have their achievements before September 25th. Recruitment is open for all classes and specs, but we have particularly strong need for the following:
Tanks (all types)
Healers (Priest and Paladin especially)
DPS (pretty full on Hunters and Rogues for right now)
Monks!
Note: We currently have no Warrior or Warlock mains. All applications will be looked at, regardless of class or spec!
Our current raiding schedule is an adjusted version of our Mists schedule, with A Core on Tuesday, B Core on Thursday, and an alt/casual run on Saturday afternoon.
We're very willing to train dedicated players--whether you're stepping up from casual raiding or returning to the game from hiatus, we have members with expertise in most classes and specs to help out!
For all classes, proficiency in two specs/roles is highly encouraged, and alts are welcome! Core A spots are competitive, and all raiders are encouraged to make constant effort to improve their play. Core B spots are open.
Loot is currently distributed as open roll, Main Spec > Dual-Spec'd Off-Spec > Unused Off-Spec. However, the guild is considering a switch to KSK for Mists release.
We're also looking for PvPers to expand the guild in a new direction! We're in search of one exceptional individual to serve the guild as a PvP Officer--hosting battlegrounds (rated and non-rated), arenas, world PvP, and training events for members of the guild who'd like to give it a try. If you're interested in the officer position, please note it on your application.

Zen needs tanks! We're in strong need of one (non-Prot Pally) tank for A Core--please be at least 6/8H and have a geared offspec, DPS preferred--a DK would be very nice. We also need tanks for B Core and our C Core casual/alt run!
A Core: Seeking one warrior or rogue, and one healer (prefer Holydin). Please be 6/8H!
B Core: Open recruitment! If you're wanting to come with us in DS, please be heroic-ready.

We have an immediate, urgent opening for one skilled tank with a strong DPS offspec for A Core! We would prefer a Blood DK or a Guardian Druid, however Prot Warriors are also encouraged to apply! Please be at least 6/8H, preferably with a few H-Spine pulls behind you.
<Zen> of Deathwing is looking for new members of all classes and specs! We're a tight-knit adult community of semi-hardcore raiders and casual gamers looking to rebuild our roster after a number of our members departed WoW. This is not a huge guild--our intent is to keep a relatively small roster of active players who enjoy playing together.
We run two raid groups, A Core (semi-hardcore) and B Core (semi-casual). We have no raiding representation of the following classes in either group: Monk, Shaman, Priest, Warlock, Warrior, Druid. Players of these classes are strongly encouraged to apply!
A Core: T-Th, 7PM MST (server time). Wednesdays may be added during progression, depending on the needs of the content. Currently recruiting one full-time healer, one off-healer, and two DPS, with a preference for ranged. Full on DKs and Paladins, and would prefer not to have another Rogue. All A Core positions are competitive--please know your stuff, be 90, and be geared to start raiding! You'll need to fill out ALL sections of the application fully. NOTE: If you're applying to A Core as a Monk, please also list your previous main so we have an idea of your past experience.
B Core: Thursdays, 7PM MST (server time). Currently recruiting all classes, all roles, all specs. B Core is currently slated to begin raiding on Thursday, October 25th. B Core welcomes those who are new to WoW or to raiding.
Casuals and PvPers: Non-raiders are also welcome in Zen! While we currently have no organised runs of old content or BGs, members of the guild are free to set up groups for whatever they'd like to run; if we get enough people who are interested, achievement groups will be hosted on Sunday evenings at 7PM server time. And of course, alts are always welcome--most of our members are altoholics.
We use Mumble for our voice chat, and the ability to use it along with a working microphone is MANDATORY for all raiders. If you're unfamiliar with the program, or are having technical difficulties, we'll be happy to assist you.
