    No, it's not going to be perfectly accurate. It's a good indication, and you can can generalize. Sorrow's Furnace is pretty obviously going to be the hardcore PvP server, for example.

    It does show towards which server people who are interested in the game enough to plan ahead are leaning towards.
    It's accurate enough for me

    Besides as Larynx said, 8k isn't a small sample.
    It's a sample after all.
    You'll never get everyone who will play to vote there or anywhere.

    If 1k is a good enough sample size for 200 million Americans for voting polls, I'd say 8k is probably sufficient for GW2 pop.

    i think ill join Desolation instead. been on far shiverpeaks all time since first bwe. but since last bwe and forward they just suck in WvW. not to judge or be rude, but i think to many casuals have moved there. (yes game isnt released yet and everyone doesnt know what to do) but ill give it 3-4 days and see how they are doing in WvW, else ill move to desolation which ive met in WvW (they were good)
