I still find WoW's intro cinematics beautiful, even the first one.

Maybe it's just me... nah.

I still love Blizzard's cinematics even those before WoW. The reasons given by Arenanet sound more like lousy excuses.

If you look at the close-up picture, at the top center of the pupil, there's a T-shaped reflection. It looks like a nose, forehead, and one eye socket. To the left of the nose is what appears to be a black rectangular shape with a circular hazy shape in the center. That, to me, looks like a camera.

I may very well be wrong, but that's what I saw when I first looked at it.

Yea, I enjoy cinematics that have nothing to do with gameplay as well.

And on the topic of the eye, it's probably just a picture for their lobby. I would love a live action trailer though.

I only read a tiny bit of the books so far, but...I remember they were talking about how the dragons like took over people and then a person who had been taken under control recently wasn't very hardened and over time they'd get harder.

Could the person in the picture be a dragon slave? They look a little crusty.
