    Food and Flasks in MoP

As the title says how is the new food (mainly feasts) and flasks (mainly cauldron's) work in MoP. I haven't seen much on these, like how are they acquired (meaning feasts and cauldron's)? Are we going back to a BC model where we bring our own?

Feasts are created through each of the 6 Ways of cooking in Pandaria. It will be better to use single buff food though that focuses on your main stat, as it gives a better bonus.

And there are no cauldrons in Mists. Only the flasks.

Edit: There is the Pandaren Banquet that is the same as the highest level food, but it requires mastery of the 6 ways.

This isslightly incorrect, unless I have been unable to find a new banquet. The highest level food provides a stat of +300 when maxed in your chosen area, whereas the panderan banquet(s) only provide a max of +275 to a stat.

so unless u or a guildie is maxed in the Way that you need for ur stat, the feasts will still be necessary

The best banquet has 275 stats and requires 600 skill on every Way: http://www.wowhead.com/item=75016.
The lesser banquets give 250 stats and require 575 skill on one Way (all ways give the same bonus on banquets).

The best individual stamina buff gives 450 stamina (so for tanks it's extremely significant). The best food for primary stats all give 300 and require 600 skill on each respective way.
Cairne wanted to thank him again, to offer encouragement, praise for a task so successfully completed. For being able to bear such burdens. But Saurfang was an orc, not a blood elf, and lavish compliments and effusion would not be welcomed or wanted.

Basically everyone will be required to use their own food and flasks for the foreseeable future. The feasts are RIDICULOUSLY expensive and aren't as effective as single buff food.

Um, nothing food-wise is "ridiculously expensive". You do realize you can farm hundreds of turtle meat up in less than an hour (or fishbot if you're less legit), trade it in for tokens and use those to buy the mats you need right? Even if you don't Jewel Danio can be fished right outside your Shrine in the Vale, and Tiger Steaks can be farmed en masse from Jade Forest or Krassarang.

That said, as others have stated you get the best food from the last recipe you get for each Way. It takes a token-bought mat (either Pepper, Soy Sauce or Rice Flour) and quite a few mats, just like the Banquets, but also makes 5 food per craft. Best bet is to farm turtle meat from the turtles in north VO4W (instant respawn, lots of them AOEable) and trade that for tokens at one per stack. You'll get tons of motes of harmony in the process as well, and they're skinnable.
