HC artisans

Was thinking about starting up some hardcore charactersas well, so I was wondering, do the artisan and their learned recipes carry over? Or do you have to re-train them and find/buy the same recipes over again?

Would be nice to craft up a few items for my new HC chars later if it was possible...

They're completely separate unfortunately, you have to level them for hardcore again. You can however trade with other hardcore players, i.e. exchanging stuff on softcore for items on hardcore for example.

Well darn. I have quite a few recipes on the SC side, including a few legendaries. Hate to look for those again. Thanks for the info!
