Got to play it tonight for the first time. First impressions are that this is AWESOME! It feels very different to WoW (in a way that Rift/TOR didn't) and it feels like i'm immersed in a new game and a massive world that is beyond me. The graphics are quite exceptional for an MMO and the artistic style is fantastic, optimisation isn't the best but it didn't bog down in busy areas like wow does, which makes up for it.

Tried a bunch of the classes with a friend of mine doing most of the actual playing (he popped over to check it out), we found the Necromancer was a stand out class in terms of being a unique and enjoyable experience. I love the way weapons work with changing your combat style based on weapon types. Highest level we got was lvl6.

Ended the night with him pre-ordering the game and me being happy with my purchase. Really looking forward to the weekend pre-release now .

Bah, wow, this is the fourth stress test I missed; third one this month! Yeah, and every time I am with my fiancee either on vacation or just hanging out. Well release will be here very soon so I am not too upset.

If it makes you feel any better, I have 2 nights off, 1 night of work, then 3 nights off.. and the one night of work is the first day of the headstart.
