1) He's letting the children of illegal immigrants stay in the country and obtain work permits.
2) He ended Don't Ask Don't Tell
3) He's greatly expanded healthcare benefits to seniors through Obamacare
"He", in this case, being the Obama Administration/executive branch with his support or directive.
I'm not Obama's biggest fan (I don't like his foreign policy, mostly), but to single out him for voter pandering while lauding Romney for his NAACP speech is silly. Romney has consistently abandoned his old values in order to pander to his far-right constituency, especially on healthcare (Romneycare vs. Obamacare), gun rights (the assault weapons ban, "varmint-hunting", anyone?), abortion, the no-tax pledge, and a host of other issues.
Something about the mentality, I always come to think of it when watching lets say Masterchef.
If it is the US version they pick contesters that are mean, uncompromising whatnot only to get a fight, its called entertainment.
Then watch the EU/Aussie version etc and you get perfectly normal people who help each others etc.
Nothing including politics is considered interesting in the US unless there are fights, smear campaigns, verbal abuse and bigotry.

But soon after Mr Xi secured a third term, Apple released a new version of the feature in China, limiting its scope. Now Chinese users of iPhones and other Apple devices are restricted to a 10-minute window when receiving files from people who are not listed as a contact. After 10 minutes, users can only receive files from contacts.
Apple did not explain why the update was first introduced in China, but over the years, the tech giant has been criticised for appeasing Beijing.

I often find it interesting that you don't see people making 1000 threads on their or other governing bodies.
I kind of been waiting for the, "french commies" threads all day long.
It kind of feels like the site is being used as free publicity for american politcs BECAUSE you never see bitching about any other country like that.

I never said there were a lot of people. And even if I did thats not a generalization. A generalization would be saying all Republicans disrespect a Democratic President and vice versa.
Also can we please not turn this into an Obama vs. Romney thread. Lets stay on topic
in the 90s the GOP tried to push the same thing, basically, then Romeny did it when he was gov., THEN Obama took the Romeny plan economists and used them to frame ROMNEY'S plan into something supportable by the country.
It's fair to call it a conservative plan because it was birthed by conservatives, BUT won life by Dems.
There is a trick there. There is an insanity and a truth.
The plan is not going anywhere because both sides got what they wanted.
The drama over it is that OBAMA got it threw and people on the other side of the isle got butthurt (He basically ninja looted Romenys thunder)
The constant attack by the right on it, is vindictive and dramatic because it's just about making you afraid, even tho.....

Hah, you're the one assuming a dissenting statement is an attack. All I said is that your posts sounds like you think that it's wrong to criticize a guy who's ruining the country (in many opinions, not all). All I said that it's ridiculous to act as if the President is a position that should get authority and be free from ridicule when he does things wrong.
You're talking about a President that took a shot at Bush during his portrait unveiling, a ceremony normally devoid of political rhetoric. Not too long ago he asked a woman he knew was a friend of Marco Rubio if he was gonna run as VP, when she answered "maybe", he responded “Tell your boy to watch it. He might get his ass kicked.”
If he shows no respect to the position of President why should others. The Muslim, socialist, commy bit is out of place but not any more that the things said about Bush, Clinton and the rest.
Well, I disrespect my current prime minister David Cameron. People say whatever they want in my opinion, provided they don't say rascist/sexist things.
Because he's an incompetent fool who has played the system, and/or race card, in every step of his life to get to where he is today.
In short, he has done absolutely NOTHING to earn anyone's respect.

I don't mind when common people mock the president. But when running politicians do? Come on . . .
Putin khuliyo
The President is a civil servant, not some dictator or Dear Leader who must be fawned before. Respect is not a given just for holding the position.
