I also happen to made a new mix for my wings of the Sunless.

Great color matching and theme, but I just haven't found anywhere that the dragon helm looks "right". It's just too large and doesn't sync well for me. (I actually salvaged my heavy one and still have the light/medium in bank as skins. Along with three night masks I'll never use...)

Yeah the helmet needs a beefy top and legs to go with it, otherwise it just looks weird with a really large head and skimpy bottom. Nice colors though.

I hear ya. The dragon helmet is pretty hard to combine. I wanted to try it, and this was the best I could come up with as a whole.
For anyone who wants to know, Khaki is the dye that matches the gold of the Sunrise. It's exactly that dye. Unfortunately it's pretty dark, but in this situation it works really good. I failed so far to make it match with my other armor.

It's all about knowing the good spots to take screenshots and how the ambient lighting/shadows make the armor look

As for the armor, it's basically a slightly flashier version of Human T3. ANet said they were going to change it and make it look more different (pissed off a lot of Human T3 owners) but no idea when.

Not really sell-out.

More like taken out because of T3 human look-alike rampage.
This set will be redone, and the one people allready bought will be changed to the new one when ready.
So it's more like a "temporary awesome gem set" (because when you see how poorly done are heavy and medium, still in gem store, you can fear for the future light one IMO)

yeah you can't blame people for getting it, it does look nice. This one is all on ArenaNet for selling it in the first place though.

Ofc, I blame a-net and not the people (although the ones buying it can also take some blame tbh), they lied and broke promises while people jumped on a "good deal" for t3 armor.
