    That's actually a really good idea. I was just thinking they should buff MS again if they can't tune healers properly, but I couldn't think of a clean way to actually give that debuff to everyone.

    I don't understand why Blizzard wants to keep such a bursty design in their PvP. Being dropped from 100% health in a four second span is stupid and healing a full healthpool with a single instant is worse. If they'd just slow everything down, maybe they'd finally be comfortable with bringing healer throughput down to a reasonable level.

    Resilience giving you a reduced healing intake would make it roughly equal to stamina, as it would allow your character to live longer without giving healers squared scaling benefit.

    using numbers if you prefer:
    Pre resi : intake of 25k dps dmg taken => intake of say 12k hps => assuming 250k maxhp = 20s alive with healer, 10s without healer
    Post "nerfed" resi : intake of 25/2 dps dmg taken => intake of say 12/2 hps => assuming 250k maxhp = 40s alive with healer, 20s without healer.
    Essencialy the same as if you had doubled your maxhp. Resilience makes you live longer, and only that.

    Post "current" resi : intake of 25/2 dps dmg taken => intake of un-nerfed 12k hps => assuming 250k maxhp = alive "forever" with a healer, 20s without healer.
    Currently healers,or rather heals in general, main or off-spec, are eventually given a God mod as they scale exponensially with resilience.

    In comparaison, (and regardless of how moronic the idea of increased healing in pvp is) PvP power scales equally between dps and healing.
    It's only resilience that's broken. Better fix what's broken, than break something else and hope that two broken somehow equal a fixed situation.

    The problem with res affecting healing is that darn base 40% one, even dudes dragon slaying have this so it cant be used as a lever to tone down healing, you cant just differenciate "pvp situation" with healing like you do with damage.

    This is an increadibly messy situation, i am so worried about PvP dying this expansion considering GW2 where none of these horrible horrible healing problems exist.

    same for elemental shaman, wotlk we could top ourselves in 4 1 sec heals, look at cata.....our hp went up 6 times our heals went up 50%, where did this put elemental? out of arenas end of.

    so nerfing healers just cripples specs like boomkin/ele who already rely on heals just to not be SHAT on by melee/pures in 5 secs.
