From the 10 skills, 2 are going to be "auto attack" bland skills.
From the 8 remaining ones, 4 for each weapon set, they will mostly be: A mobility skill restricted to weapon, one Condition skill, and one that simply does more damage. The 4th will probably just be a repeat of the other ones.
I find it hilarious that you say you do a 7-10 button rotation in WoW when the game is actually far, far more complicated than that in absolutly all aspects, and most if not all classes have a major resource to organize, AT ALL TIMES, not just every now and then like GW 2.
For instance, for my rogue, I have something like....45 binds. The abilities that simply "do damage" however only consists of like 4 keys (Ambush, Hemo, Backstab and Evis), and even those have conditions that mean that I can't simply press em on cooldown (Energy pooling, keeping up buffs, Ambush requires dance or stealth, Evis requires combo points).
The rest 40 binds are all situational use, which on top of resources to manage, adds so much depth that this mess of a game can't even try to compare.
The same goes for all classes in WoW at this point, really.
Oh yeah, nice appeal to gear gap also, when at the high level of PvP, the only gear gap in WoW comes from PvE gear and besides that, everyone is in the exact same gear. >.>
