I really like Chicago, so I'm voting Illinois.

Vermont. I work there in the summers, and nothing ever happens. Except maybe a drunk dude running over 7 police cars in his tractor.

1. You live in Las Vegas, therefore you cannot vote for Nevada.
2. I live in Las Vegas too, sure, I think it's better than most places but honestly this place is a shit hole. Top 5 worst economies in the country, some of the worst politics, some of the worst weather. No, not Nevada, definitely not here.
The fact that you can't vote for your own state is stupid. Why? I'd assume that most people would think that the best state is their own.
With that being said, Wisconsin, because it's the best.
But FINE, I'll play by the rules. Minnesota, because it's most like Wisconsin.
It seems to make more sense not being able to vote for your own state... otherwise there will be the people that have never set foot outside of what they know.
I'm from the UK and I've visited various states: Florida, New York, Maine, Nevada, Illinois and Washington.
If money was no object and I was single, Nevada, without question. Las Vegas to be precise, I've never seen such a.... made for men place. My visit to Maine lasted two weeks and to be honest, I liked it, Bangor was like a small northern English town with a fairly large airport. Points for familiarity.
If it came to living, I'd go for Orlando in Florida. Most English people who have visited the US have been there and I love it. Washington was for work, in Seattle, and I'd jump at the chance to live there again. It was a great city to be in. The only close competitor would be Chicago, but Seattle was nicer for no justifiable reason.
NY was nice, but only for a holiday. Over here I live in Birmingham and that's enough for me. I love visiting London, but part of me knows I'm happy I can leave when I like. The same applied to New York. Great experience, but I could never live there.
Cant really pick, it would be one of the 13 original colonies. Definitely not Texas tho, definitely not.

Florida is my favorite personally.
I live in Wisconsin and can say with 100% certainty that it is not this state. Milk, cheese, and...farms. Oh, and UW-Madison - #1 party school
Most fun place I've been: Louisville, Kentucky, partied at the college on a trip

Michig...
Never mind then.
I'll go with Alaska. Never been to America unless you count the time I was forced to stay in LA for 3 days (plane over booked, and it was on the way back from holiday so we didn't have money to actually do anything. :<) But Alaska always seemed a very beautiful place.

I think that's the problem, it's to hot and sunny all the time. Never been there, but if it's anything like WA during the summer, then it'd be true
